Hereinafter referred to as the "Data Controller".

I independently determine the purposes and means of processing your personal data.

2. What personal data do I process?

Depending on the nature and extent of our communication, I may process the following personal data:

  • Your first and last name.

3. Why do I process your personal data?

I process your personal data primarily for the following purposes:

  • Responding to enquiries submitted through the contact form.

  • Providing coaching, personal development, counselling and psychotherapy services.

  • Fulfilling any applicable legal obligations.

  • Protecting my legal rights and claims.

I do not use your personal data for purposes other than those for which it was collected, unless I have an appropriate legal basis to do so.

4. Legal basis for processing personal data

I process ordinary personal data, such as your name and email address, primarily on the following legal bases:

  • Taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.

I process such information only where one of the conditions set out in Article 9 of the GDPR is met. Where processing is based on explicit consent, that consent must be freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous.

5. Contact form and sensitive information

My website uses a contact form provided through the Webnode platform. The form allows you to send me a message or enquiry.

Messages submitted through the contact form are delivered to my Gmail email address. I personally access and handle these messages. Technical processing may also be carried out, to the extent necessary, by the providers of the website and email services.

I understand that when seeking help, you may need to share very personal information, including information about psychological difficulties or your health.

Nevertheless, I kindly ask you not to send detailed medical reports, medical records or other sensitive documents through the standard contact form. A brief description of the reason for contacting me is sufficient for the initial enquiry.

If you voluntarily provide information about your health or other sensitive personal matters through the contact form, I will treat such information as special category personal data and ensure that an appropriate legal basis and safeguards are in place for its processing.

6. Who has access to your personal data?

I, Mgr. Břetislav Kantor, am the only person who personally accesses and handles the content of messages and the personal data contained in them.

For the technical operation of the website and email communication, data may also be processed to the extent necessary by service providers, in particular:

  • Webnode, which provides website hosting and the contact form.

  • Google, which provides the Gmail email service.

Depending on the nature of the processing, these providers may act as data processors or independent data controllers.

I do not sell your personal data or provide it to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

7. How long do I retain your personal data?

I retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected.

Messages submitted through the contact form are retained for the period necessary to respond to your enquiry and handle any related communication. If no further cooperation takes place, I will subsequently delete the data unless continued retention is required by law or is necessary to protect my legal rights and claims.

Personal data related to the provision of services is retained for the duration of our cooperation and subsequently for the period required by applicable legal regulations and my legitimate needs.

Once the relevant retention period has expired, I will securely delete or anonymise the data.

8. How do I protect your personal data?

I take appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent unauthorised access to personal data, as well as its loss, misuse, alteration or unauthorised disclosure.

I pay particular attention to information concerning your health, psychological difficulties and other sensitive personal circumstances.

  • The right to data portability, where the legal conditions are met.

  • The right to withdraw your consent at any time, if processing is based on consent.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

You can exercise your rights by contacting me at: bretislavkantor@gmail.com
